Location

Grizzly Peak Boulevard
Oakland 94704
type:
pothole or pavement cracks
direction:
northbound
description:
I think this belongs to Oakland although you might think it was part of Berkeley. Numerous large holes in this ~1.5 mile section. The pavement along the center line is also breaking apart, w/ massive cracks.

Received report of "Closed" from City of Oakland PW Dep't. Presumably patched. Marking as "Resolved" and will re-open if found to NOT to be filled.

Also submitted by Tom Buoye today - tracking number 327102 - as the one he opened in March (301031) was closed in May. Unfortunately the repairs had not been completed despite the city issuing the "Closed" edict.

Received tracking number "Request 326905" from Oakland.

Resubmitting to Oakland (Mitch Cohen filed similar report 8/07 - http://ebbc.org/?q=node/849) - also sending to EBRPD and Berkeley since they all seem to have overlapping jurisdictions on this stretch of GPBlvd. Alameda County, UC Berkeley and Orinda nip into it also, but we'll start with the usual suspects.
