1. Meeting Administraion
     Next Meeting to be 11/1/06, because we are meeting late in September.
    
2. Public Comment
    Project Heath is working on: Curtis and Gilman: Linda Maio originated a request for a solution to people getting hit at this intersection.
    Gilman is being repainted in 2007. Peter Hillier asked the project to do "routine accomodation", or failing that, use Measure B money. Heath has a drawing on the back of the Agenda.  Is there room for separate ramps? Bulbouts?  The legs between the curbs make the pedestrian distance shorter. Dave says how do you educate the public to know that it is a 6 way intersection? Because this is a low-density crossing, this is a good place for cyclists to run diagonally across the intersection without stopping.
Dave wants A .a traffic circle, B. striping across the diagonal or C.a bulbout, which could have 3 ramps. Dave bets the cost of two diagonal  bulbouts could be less than the new paths Heath wants.  Diagonal bulbouts to stop the bikes in a visible spot. There would be less distance to travel.

4. Safe Routes to Transit
     Discussion of ideas to put in application: Yield signs on Bike Boulevards? Dave says they take 4-5 projects off the top, that meet a certain  criteria,such as the. Bike Boulevards, and all the projects for a community (appropriate for the community, ok'd by the Bike Subcommittee).Small discussion, no conclusions. Dave wants us to think about it.
