This area contains detailed information on various bicycle issues and open questions facing Berkeley. Our intent is that even if an issue becomes dormant, we will retain the information here for future reference.

We make no pretense of completeness here! If you have material on other local bike issues you would like to see posted here, let us know. Currently, we have information on the following:

- City Bicycle Fund, 2003: City Council voted redirect to $140,000 of the $170,000 general fund bicycle fund to other purposes. Learn how this happened, and how BFBC fought against it (last updated 2007-03-27.)
- Freeway access: CABO/CBC work to gain bicycle access to certain freeway segments (last updated 2007-03-27).
- I-80 Bike-Ped Bridge:
- Berkeley I-80 Bicycle/Pedestrian Bridge Design Guidelines. City document, in PDF.
- Telegraph Ave Bike Lanes: Telegraph Ave. needs bike lanes in Oakland. The City of Oakland is studying the issue, but it is far from a done deal (last updated 2007-03-27).
