Willard-Leconte-Bateman Area

Traffic calming changes in Willard-Leconte-Bateman area, both those implemented and those merely proposed, have been controversial.

Here is the memo from Peter Hillier, Assistant City Manager for Transportation, dated 11 September 2002, adressed to residents in the Willard, Leconte and Bateman neighborhoods on the subject of traffic management plans in those areas. I placed it here in three formats so you can choose how you want to see it:

• Retreive it in the original Microsoft Word .doc format as it came from the city.
• View it as converted by Microsoft Word to html format. (Readable, but not beautiful.)
• View it as converted by Microsoft Word to plain text format. (Readable, but even less beautiful.)

(None of these formats is all that satisfactory, but that's how it goes with Microsoft Word docs.)
